PCR UDM 1345 - DPI Change - Missing Screen Elements in Workplace Apps

Post by robinwilson16 » Sun Oct 16, 2016 11:08 pm

If you increase your DPI (font size) in Windows you will find that this affects the layout of screen elements in Workplace apps.

This leads to screen elements completely vanishing and this is due to the fact that the app window is a set size (doesn't expand) but with the font (text) larger, this pushes the last screen element (i.e. a drop-down) onto the line below. However as this is off the screen it means it makes it invisible.

Capita have logged this as a PCR with no date when it is likely to be fixed.

We have a low vision user and Capita's only workaround was to purchase a larger monitor.

This was logged on 22/09/2015 (issue number 59238-473591)
